Studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Delft, specialising in ‘the creation of models’. After a short period of work experience at Akzo Nobel, he took over the family business Van Helvoirt Groenprojecten BV (‘Green Projects’), where he gained experience with management and the implementation of changes within an organisation. After six years it was time for a new challenge. This resulted in the foundation of SHFT.
